3cm square, 10cm long oil pastel. The size is equivalent to 15 regular oil pastels, making it suitable for live painting. The oil content has been increased as much as possible to make them soft so that they can be drawn smoothly. The high quality pigments used in these pastels produce strong and vivid colors.

Oil Pastel How It’s Made

My family’s art supply store was founded in Osaka in 1920.
For more than 20 years, I served artists there, learning the quality they truly demand.
Some colors and sizes cannot be made by machines or factories.
When manufacturers said it was impossible, I chose to make it by hand.
That is how BIG OIL PASTEL was born — my answer to what art materials should be.
