BIG OIL PASTEL Baby is a 1/8th size BIG OIL PASTEL.
I have sought to create a "dark and soft" and "fun and pleasant" drawing experience, and have added as much high-quality pigment and oil as possible to minimize fading. The colors are so rich that they adhere to the surface of the painting, giving it a finish similar to an oil painting.

Oil Pastel How It’s Made

My family’s art supply store was founded in Osaka in 1920.
For more than 20 years, I served artists there, learning the quality they truly demand.
Some colors and sizes cannot be made by machines or factories.
When manufacturers said it was impossible, I chose to make it by hand.
That is how BIG OIL PASTEL was born — my answer to what art materials should be.
